Hi Micheal. Thank you for the representation from a technical stand point. I appreciate your feedback and time taken to explain the finer points of resource allocation and utilization. It is truly welcome.
However there are two standpoints to view this event from:
- SF Ali did not set out to break medium and the action of medium to safeguard their infrastructure was within their rights.
- The main issue is the initial mode of engagement or feedback provided when he was notified. As human beings we are very specific in the type of filters we apply to understand a situation. This is one that created a disconnect between the parties involved.
I agree with all the points you stated in your response and I would only want to add that if they had given a response that did not seem to charge him with the guilt of being a heavy user - perhaps his response would not have caused the feedback it generated.
This community is comprised of many types of readers with different focal points. Some are technical and others are literal. Focusing more on the nature of the communication than any knowledge of the underlying platform.
