The Senate of the University of Abuja has appointed Professor Aisha Maikudi as the Acting Vice Chancellor of the institution. The UNIAbuja, as it is popular called, made this announcement recently.
The 41-year-old Professor of Law was the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the institution which is based in Nigeria’s capital city until this recent appointment. She has carved a niche for herself by being the youngest female professor to be so appointed to such a highly exalted position, at UNIAbuja.
The Katsina State-born academic-cum-legal technocrat had bagged her P.hD in the same university in 2015. She had carried out various academic researches and had presented many professional papers in countries such as the USA, UK, Egypt, just to mention a few.
