From these stories written by certain authorities on the Medium algorithms, the rules of engagement on the platform have taken further new positions. This is unexpected anyways.

1. Thou shalt not clap before reading the story, O Medians. If thou dost so, thy claps shalt no longer count.
2. Thou shalt not engage in fake readings. Thou shalt read at least 30 seconds before the first 20 seconds shalt be put into consideration. This is because it takes about 10 seconds to clap 50 times. Then it takes about another 20 seconds to read making it 30 seconds in all.
3. Thou shalt surely read, highlight before thy clappings shalt be considered as valid. There shalt be no more fake claps.
4. Thou shalt not rush to highlight the story when thou hast not surely read the story from the beginning. If thou dost so, thy readings shalt not count.
5. Thou shalt surely make thy readings both true and natural for thy general engagements to truly count. Let thy readings be true so thy readings shalt surely be recorded.
6. Thou shalt surely regard these new rules and obey them for thy blessings as a writer and reader to be regarded in thy own account.

These art the new rules which thou shalt diligently observe to do them according to all the laws that govern the Median platform. For when thou observest and doest them, thou shalt surely have a good success in the land of the Medianites which thou dwellest all the days of thy life.
