FIRST QUARTER DUFUNA EXPERIENCE
I have found myself faced with various challenges, which fortunately I have overcome by making use of opportunities that come my way, The Dufuna programme has been a major opportunity that I now have. For the past weeks I have been given tasks, assignments and facilitations from mentors and teammates which in one way or the other have built me and allowed me to grow in my aspirations as a software engineer.
It was not until the 15th of May, 2018 that I was considered as a beneficiary of the dufuna scholarship, it’s been three months in my journey already, and these three months have not come without unannounced effort by my mentors, Tega, Kehinde, kanyinsola, and teammates inclusive to ensure all necessary corrections and reprove is given to enable my growth. I reserve special gratitude to Ibironke, your speedy reaction to my questions has really helped a lot.
Through out the span of these three months I have learnt, I have gained understanding, I have received encouragement and all this has led to my growth as not only a software engineer, but as one resolved to make the best use of resources and time in advancement of my proposed relevance to my society and to the world at large.

My Colleagues at the University of Ibadan
This program has exposed me to things beyond my earlier imagination, it is an opportunity which I intend not to misuse, if thank you were enough I would gladly give ten times, but I know for a certain that the goal of the program is to build all participants, and truly I can see its effect already manifesting, so instead of a thank you I would make sure I make the goal of the programme achieved, this is my thank you. I am glad to be on this train, and I will gracefully align with its movement.
