Showing too much passion at work can make you regret it. At least, it did for me. Being amongst the people who would take heaps of work head-on without showing their employers the discomfort they go through or the fact that they’re outdoing themselves every day, I’ve realised that there’s no use working too much.

In a world full of not so bright people too engulfed in their own lives, nobody is sitting there and counting the contributions you’re making. It’s a simple equation. The more you do the more they expect. And you might think you’re putting that effort for yourself but that’s actually not the case. All that effort goes to the employer that has fucks to give only when you make a mistake. So, it’s good to fuck work sometimes and live a little. Oops. Let me stand corrected. Live a lot and work a little. Just as much as you get paid for.
