Urns & Tombstones for Farm Animals

I adore playing with Animals in the Sims 4. One of my biggest modding projects next to the Happy Haunts mod is the Paws & Claws mod collection that solely focuses on extending gameplay surrounding animals. While the graveyard mod always allowed you to use the features to bury your pets I decided that with this overhaul I wanted to add the ability to bury your farm animals too.

If farm animals die they’re just removed from the game and don’t leave an urn or tombstone by default. I made new meshes and textures to add variants of the urns & tombstones for all the farm animals including the goats and sheep from the Horse Ranch Expansion Pack.

The urns & tombstone meshes are based on the meshes from Cats & Dogs. I used the wall decals from Horse Ranch for the animal icons to make it as maxis match as possible. The sizes of the urns & tombstone have a bit of variation resembling the size of the animals.

These new urns/ tombstones behave like any in game urns/ tombstones. Which means that they change based on whether you place them on natural ground or not.

If a farm animal dies the urn/ tombstone will be generated at the end of the death interaction. The urn/ tombstone will automatically show their name and you can engrave them if you want.

The tombstones/ urns have all in game interactions on them and all interactions that have been added by the graveyard mod.

Note: There are no ghosts for the farm animals and they can not be revived.
