Install YouTube On Windows 10

If you’re using a Microsoft Windows laptop or desktop, you won’t find an official YouTube app available for Windows 10 since YouTube is a Google product.

Unlike Chromebooks (a product of Google), which allows easy installation of YouTube apps from the Play Store. Being a Windows users it has limited options. The Microsoft Store doesn’t offer an official YouTube app, making access slightly less convenient.

To install YouTube on Windows 10, follow these below steps:

1. Open the Microsoft Edge browser.
2. In the search bar, type “YouTube” and press Enter.
3. Look for the below icon at the right corner of the address bar. Click it and select “Install.”

Once installed, YouTube will appear as an app in your app drawer.

This method allows you to use YouTube as an independent app through an Edge browser window. However, note that this app won’t support additional tabs and will function somewhat independently but not fully.

How to Uninstall YouTube from Windows 10

If you wish to uninstall the YouTube app, follow these steps:
