Getting to know Calvary Chapel

Calvary Chapel is a non-denominational Christian church that focuses on spreading Christ’s love and growing their congregation’s faith.

Pastor Chuck Rhein has been leading the church for over four years and has plans to bring more St. Joseph citizens to Christ through ministry.

One of the most important aspects of Calvary Chapel is accepting people in whatever state they are in; regardless of background, clothing style or personality, Calvary wants you as you are.

Sermon starts on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m.

Calvary has a devoted set of board members that take time out of their day throughout the week to help keep the church alive and well.

Worship features a mix of contemporary Christian music as well as traditional hymns.

The Calvary building itself is very historic. Set in Downtown St. Joseph, Missouri, the building is over 120 years-old.
