Scarves & Socks

As soon as winter arrives, I’m one of those people who has to wear a scarf wherever I go. When I walk down the street in the freezing cold weather, it shocks me when I see people with their coats undone and not wearing a scarf. Not only do they keep you warm and snug, but I think that they look really nice as well- especially when worn with a nice big winter coat.

Every single year, I buy myself a new scarf so as you can imagine, I have quite a big collection. I now have a scarf in every colour and material you could think of; I think it’s fair to say that I’m a little bit obsessed!

If you’re thinking about either getting yourself a scarf or buying one for someone this Christmas, I advise you to look online because there’s so many different styles and designs that you can search for and discover.

For some people (myself especially), choosing what to get the men in the family for Christmas can be quite a hard decision. Every year I always seem to buy them the same presents which is aftershave and socks. This year, I’ve decided that I’m going to change things up a bit and get them a nice cashmere scarf each. Unlike aftershave, scarves are long lasting and will come to great use in the cold winter months so I know that they will make the most of it if I buy one for each of them. I’ll still probably stick to getting them socks as a second present though because a man can never have too many pairs of socks, can he? — especially my Grandad as he always seems to have a hole in every single pair!
