How do you think the dimensions are layered? Here is my theory.

The Nether has a roof, so nothing can fall down, from the Overworld. Also, when you fall down, throught the bedrock, the void becomes darker and it’s very dark on the nether roof. The End is on top.

On the end of the Overworld, the Stripelands appear: only the top of the blocks appear.

I shall do more exploring.
