The story of my wedding,

It will surprise you!

After 9 tremendous years of being together me and my wife decided to get hitched. We got married on August 17th at my eldest sister's house (I will explain why later)

We were supposed to have the ceremony beside a lake with a great view and three gazebos that were to be used as our arch. Chairs filled with family and friends were going to create our aisle but that didn't happen. Mother Nature had a different plan, Rain and hail came down. Tornado warnings prevented a decent amount of my side of the family from making it. Thanks to my amazing Officiant Kim Adeney who was able to quickly adjust the plans to have the ceremony in my sister's backyard. Both the groom and bride's family hastily pitched tents the night before as we were planning only to have the reception at my sister's house.

That day both families became one, The main theme of our wedding was based on the combination of each of our families' cultures. Italian, Indigenous and Newfie (Newfoundland) instead of having a dedicated box and asking for gifts (which we did receive anyway) We went with raffle baskets.
