The real differences for, well, me, at least. This is why I use both. I will update this list occasionally, when I run into problems and have to switch systems.

Mac

Software

  1. Font Forge. X11 via xQuartz actually runs, sort of, on Mac
  2. Whois with terminal, and terminal in general
  3. Webdav that doesn’t suck
  4. Open fonts made for Mac

Hardware

  1. Photoshop touchbar edits
  2. Simple design

PC

Software

  1. ALT+First Letter of a Menu
  2. My old Wacom Intuos tablet
  3. Real Microsoft word
  4. Open fonts made for PC
  5. Uninstall most apps without scripts and deleting files from obscure paths
  6. Old CorelDRAW! Files

Hardware

  1. Close the laptop lid
  2. Physical home, end, and escape keys
  3. Replace broken stuff (more often)
