macOS Shortcut Keys

This is a personal reference of macOS shortcut keys that you might find useful, especially if you use Windows and Mac.
Keep your hands on the keyboard.
Focus on the Application Menu
They are not as direct as alt+first-letter-the-menu-option in windows, but
- To get to the help menu and start typing a command, use: command+shift+/
- To focus on the Apple menu, from which you can arrow over, use: fn+control+f2
Like the windows counterpart, these commands are especially useful in graphic apps for, besides learning shortcut keys from the menu, accessing menu options without moving the cursor away from a key position in the image to step through sub menus.
Switch Between Windows in the Same App
- command+~
(vs. command+tab)
Screenshot
- command+shift+4
- command+shift+4, space
Better: The touch bar gives you options to save screenshots to the clipboard vs. the desktop after you begin one.
Move Windows Around
Setup Divvy shortcuts. I use
- control+alt+command+left-arrow (left)
- control+alt+command+right-arrow (right)
- control+alt+command+down-arrow (full)
- control+alt+command+space (divvy mouse menu)
Do Not Disturb
Option + mouse click on the notifications icon on the toolbar is OK, but the best thing ever is
- Replacing the Siri touch key with a do not disturb key
