If I do not wander, it would depend on if they decide they need to talk to me. When I wandered I joined in on my fellows’ conversations because I overheard something instead of them deciding to ask me a question.
I usually have my phone on me. I also have an iPad with a keyboard, but I don’t bring my laptop around. I can get it if I need it because our office is only 3000 sq feet.

That’s a good point Vincent. Our company’s hitting 50 people now and I’ve been reflecting a lot on where we are going to go together next. Our older team members have already said that they feel the current company and the company they joined a few years ago is quite different. That doesn’t have to be bad — just that trying to make everyone happy and buy in to the new direction is a challenge.
Cheers Adam! Also, interns are sometimes good sources of inspiration because they don’t have the pressure of a full-time employee, so they can experiment and try new things. It helps our side projects and once in a while we’re blown away with all the extra time they put in.
