If our office had cats, we would never leave, either!

Thanks! We use Buffer and Slack as well. We also use other tools like Basecamp and Trello.

We never really wanted to hire remote workers, so we don’t recruit outside of Hong Kong or Taipei. Our two remote workers are originally from Hong Kong and moved elsewhere, so we know them personally. We don’t hire remotely. I wrote about remote work because I realized that some people would think that our company is great for allowing remote work (most people talk about how we can work from home). But when I reflected, I realized that we actually weren’t successful as a company — even though we have happy team members who are remote working.
