It’s worth mentioning that, in general, fresh, locally grown (smaller farms = less pesticides = less health problems as little ones get bigger) veggies and fruit (and meat) are superior to food items that are not. Mass produced meat and veggies/fruit tend to fight hardcore for resources (there’s only so much nitrogen in the soil), are soaking in antibiotics/pesticides (mmm agent orange flavor), and can confuse the body…grain from Africa? And you are eating it in Michigan? Plants tell the body how to feel based on what they’ve experienced — I mean, the plants tend to stay in one place longer than the body does, so the body tends to listen to the plants. The body doesn’t know where it is or why, only what it feels and experiences, so if it gets mismatching signals (from plants and then its own data) it may be a bit disconnected from its environment.
