Back at it again with social networking. They bought Orkut, but it was integrated in a very clunky fashion by way of a hyperlink to a totally non-Google UX layout.
Then there was Google Buzz. A weird amalgamation of AOL IM and a forum like interface. Buzzkill! Ha!
Now it’s Google+ 2.0 or whatever they decide to call it.
Hey Google! Make a better version of Instagram. Or better yet, make a version of Yahoo’s defunct Livetext app and turn it into a social networking platform.
Please make it intelligent so as to attract smart content.
We don’t need another Facebook, Rex, Twitter, MySpace, Livejournal, etc.
