I started calling this the TWOI technique… the ‘tidal wave of information’. It’s a great self-defense technique. The way to execute it is to talk and talk without saying anything of great meaning or substance to your audience. Once they are thoroughly drowned, you turn it over to them “Any Questions?” Amazingly they will probably say “No, I understand perfectly.” because they are afraid that a real question will trigger another tidal wave. It’s a slow technique, but guaranteed to get people to agree with you outwardly.
