Day 1/90 Building a 5 Figure Media Agency

Pretty much sums up my newest journey!
I’m starting a digital shop focused on video marketing and FB ads — starting with real estate professionals. The goal is to earn $10,000 per month.
Last year, I sold $3m of real estate products in 3 months
I have my first meeting with a potential client on Monday. Wish me luck
Here are the two things I’m focused on:
I can’t expect my clients to think I’m an expert at generating leads if I’m not a boss at sales and leads myself so that’s why I’m going to start ChrisV Presents: Mad Men
This is where I’ll dish out free marketing and sales’ advice from
my experience selling $3M worth of real estate products in 3 months.
I’m doing the show for two reasons:
- I love analyzing other people’s products and marketing campaigns
- I love the attention of being on camera (being brutally honest)
I’m using video because I want to build that skill set and video marketing is a good macro strategy for me to adhere to.
My core service that I want to offer real estate clients is the following:
Weekly Pillar Show (FB video, podcast, newsletter)
- 4 articles (medium, LinkedIn)
- 40 images (IG, FB)
Because it will generate the most attention and leads for their business.
I’m borrowing this concept from Gary Vaynerchuk and I plan to generate leads using my own weekly pillar show as an example for my clients!
The add-on services I want to offer are:
- video production
- video marketing
- FB paid ads
- web design
The people I need to hire that will grow the business are:
- Client happiness officer to follow up with clients because it feels HUMAN
- Sales VA
- Web Designer
My bandwidth is limited in addition to my creative so hiring out the technical skills is paramount. Luckily, there are services like Upwork and Fiver to find the technical talent. Ideally, I’d like to use the same talent and build a relationship.
I’m always thinking about growth so focusing on tasks IS NOT the best use of my time OR how I want to spend it!
