I have felt this same feeling, and even said these same words when discussing my designs with coworkers… but I honestly don’t think I would ever have felt comfortable enough to be that transparent in an interview. Kudus to her for being so honest, and kudos to you (and your company) for understanding that honest imperfection is more valuable than blind confidence.
