All fresh infusions of clarity are welcome — really enjoyed reading this. And I enjoyed seeing all the comments — mostly of agreement, but some of them still trying to pick a fight over this. I’ve come to be cautious about my own comments as I can see that they say more about me than they say about the subject at hand. For instance, I’m tempted to say something mean about Cruz, because I don’t like him — or to say something nice about your dad, because I’m a big fan — but I can’t think of anything I might say that would actually make someone else feel differently.
