I understand those statements. I too wonder where the money will come from. I’ve worked 100+ weeks for the last 7+ years to get where I am financially and I don’t want any of it taken away. Will I be forced back to work?
FEMINISTS: We’ve had a black President, now it’s time for a female President.
I agree. 22 nations currently have women running their countries. Since when did the United States become the least progressive country? Switzerland is on its 6th female President. By every statistic the Swiss are kicking America’s and the EU’s collective asses in Economic Freedom, Inflation, and Jobs.
REPUBLICANS: Trump is going to secure our borders, bring back “fair” trade, and most of all he’s not going to take any shit form anyone.
You’re absolutely right. Trump will do what he thinks is right and won’t kowtow to anyone. He’ a one-man show that answers to no one.

Yes, I remember the good old days. Clinton’s policies set me up financially, and made it easy for me to buy a house for the first time. Unfortunately, he made it too easy for me to buy a house; because I really wasn’t set up financially. As soon as the economy corrected itself, I lost my finances and house.
Health insurance is killing so many people because they did it backwards. We have to raise the minimum wage first, and then you can adopt a healthcare policy similar to Obamacare. National healthcare works fantastically in other countries; but those countries have minimum wages of up to (comparatively) $25/hr.
Also, we have to get Big Pharma out of the Capitol’s pockets. As long as they can grease the wheel, we’ll never have an acceptable healthcare system.
Trump is bold and would be like having John Wayne as President. He will also bring our agricultural and labor industries to a grinding halt. That is if he doesn’t immediately and inadvertently start an apocalyptic war to end all fucking wars.
Trump has ZERO diplomacy. He HATES women. He HATES minorities. My America, the country for which I served as a Marine, is a country of compassion, inclusiveness, and many more qualities of which Mr. Trump displays NONE, with the exception of being the Ultimate Capitalist Warrior. Can you sense my jealousy there?
If you think that puffing out your chest and voting for Trump is going to solve any problems, then you know nothing about the job of our POTUS.
Feminists are supposed to push an agenda of equality. That agenda’s backbone is the fact that women can do anything men can do and get paid equally for it. Why? Because women are smart. They’re not led around by their pants.
Voting for someone not because of their ideals, but for their gender, race, religion, or sexual preference is stupid. It’s the opposite of “not being led around by your pants” (or pantsuit). And let’s face it, Jeb Bush aside, no candidate has lied to the American people more than Hillary Clinton. You would have to have your head in a hole for the last 30 year not to see that. Use your noggin people.
Now… Capitalists… whew. This is the hardest ideal to shatter; but I’m going to speaking plainly.
Do you trust what any politician says (Trump excluded, because I believe him and that’s what scares me)? Because I’ve had the last 5 Presidents, Republican and Democrat, lie to me for the last time.
So for EVERYONE…
I never agreed 100% with any candidate. You’d have to be a complete narcissist to think any person on this planet agrees with your every thought. In fact, I agreed more with what GW said when he was running the first time than my current alignment with Bernie. But GW lied like everyone else. Like I knew Obama wouldn’t shut down Guantanamo. Or like when Bush Sr. so infamously said, “Read my lips. No new taxes.”
These politicians may have your “values”, or your “ideals”; but they don’t have your money. They have other people’s money. They have billionaires’ money. They have Super PACs’ money. And when it comes down to it, they are going to vote the way the people that own them want them to vote.
Yes, I know… The Donald doesn’t need money. But Trump doesn’t and has never listened to your opinion. He’s already formed his own.
While Bernie’s “values” may not all align with mine, and his ideas may not all be good; he IS in fact the only candidate who’s “values and ideals” were formed out of his want for America to be a better place to live for EVERYONE*. Bernie will sit with people and hear their voices.
Most of all…
He accepted ZERO campaign contributions from the PACs. He’s the only one. That is why the Democratic delegates are shitting their collective pants (and pantsuits). Because they are afraid the firehose of bribery money flooding into Capitol Hill will start to kink.
Bernie has vowed to put an end to Super PACs and the corruptive relationship of lobbyists and government officials. That’s all I really care about. Because until that happens, it really doesn’t matter who you vote for — they’re all going to continue to disappoint you.
* Except evil billionaires who don’t pay taxes; which is why your taxes are so damn high. Blame socialism all you want; but if the 10% actually paid their share of taxes like you and I do, we could afford most of what Bernie is suggesting.
