You arrive in London for a holiday and want to hire a tour guide, go for a bicycle ride and then pay for a night’s stay. You get out your phone and start Googling tour guides in London. Hundreds of results appear. After wasting 15 minutes searching you finally settle on one. Next you Google rental bicycles. You spend another 15 minutes searching for a vendor close to you with a reasonable reputation. And finally, you need to search yet again on a different website for somewhere to stay (maybe another 20 minutes wasted?). You’ve just lost almost an hour of your first morning in London. And you just realized you forgot to bring some local currency and organize a travel card.

Now imagine if you had been using ShareRing. Simply open the ShareRing app and select the services you’re after. Those located near to you appear instantly on a beautifully presented map, all clearly identified. In under a minute, you book each service, paying instantly using SharePay, ShareRing’s proprietary token (SHRP). You’re all set. Oh, I forgot to mention you paid for all of these using the SharePay tokens you earned by sharing your office space back home while you’re away. Pretty neat, huh.

That is the power of ShareRing.

Currently, the global sharing economy is severely fragmented. There’s thousands of small companies and websites etc. scattered across the world offering sharing services. This means the sharing of assets and services is restricted to small, localized markets. Customers need to sign up to a different platform every time they want to use a new service — a huge hassle. This fragmentation also results in a large variation in the cost of services, meaning many customers are not getting value for their money.

ShareRing will be the only global platform for shared assets and services. It will be the world’s first trusted, infinitely flexible sharing ecosystem — all made possible through blockchain technology. A single verified ID will provide you with access to shared assets and services anywhere in the world, at any time, with no currency exchange fees.

The team maintains that ShareRing can be the Amazon of the sharing economy. In ShareRing, I believe we are witnessing the birth of a new giant.

In my next article, I will give a rundown of ShareRing’s growing list of collaborators.
