Awesome piece, Libby! Yes! We need more UX designers in enterprise, but we also have to be careful to not approach it as if it were or *should* operate like a startup. To often I see junior UXers assume too much and not understand that enterprise design is best served by approaches that may be different, sometimes dramatically so. The enterprise itself is a key stakeholder, owner, team member, and customer, in ways no other individual or group can be. Not understanding this, and not having the tools to address this, is a sure fire way to design failure.
