Q. what is ARG game?

It is an adventure you have in your real life.

Q. What is the narrative story?

People feel pressured sometimes, but they do not know the reason why. There is an “organization,” which subconsciously insert the “system” in citizens’ minds to gain control of the people. Every choice you make seems like your own, but actually it is not. Also, the organization make people stop thinking creatively. People who works for the organization call themselves, “controllers.Controllers inject the systems’ rules into citizens’ mind to subconsciously control them. The controllers force the citizens to act in ways which benefits the organization. In order to become free from the system and controllers, citizens need to find clues and solve them that I left on certain places.

Q. what do you do?

You are fighting against the system to break the rules that they made and gain freedom. Once you notices that this game exists, you have the power to fight against the system. We(I) call ourselves, “purifiers.” We use hidden messages to communicate with people who still have no idea that they are being controlled.

Individually, you need to find hidden messages in the city to solve and get to the next step. However, the clue is going to be difficult to solve. Nobody said escaping the well-established system would be easy.

Q. why people are doing this? what is the goal ?

People will engage this by “curiosity” and when they enter this, the goal is to defeat the system and the organization, so we can have our free will.

Also, because we are purifiers, the hidden goal is to make people drink a lot of water(it circulates the blood) and exercise a little bit more(because they walk more to find clues) so you gain something from doing it.

Eventually, (if it’s possible) people can gather around and play an fun event with the theme of “fighting back the system.”(breaking something, such as throwing a water balloon to a wood target to release stress)

Q. where do you plan to do this ?

because I cannot go to every place, hide clues and make people to search for the clues,(it is too broad) I would say in near-by Union square area.

Q. what method, what kind of things are you going to use?

social-media such as web blog, hidden tangible clues, graffiti, potentially public pay phones, augmented reality app if it’s possible.

Q. Who are the target audience?

The target audience is everyone who wants to join. Potentially, 10–50s? I don’t know how many players will join, but minimum 3 to 30 players. Right now, I don’t have a plan to make them interact with each other, just giving them clues to follow.

people who have a lot of time doing stuff that is completely unpractical. Someone who wants to experience an adventure in the city.

Q. Launching date and when is it going to end?

As soon as possible when I get all the clues ready, I’m thinking not end the game.

Q. clue level..?

I try to design where anyone can access, so they don’t have to spend too much time solving it.
