Favorite Part of Mechanical Engineering

My favorite aspect of mechanical engineering is being able to take things apart, analyze how they works, problem solve and put them back together. Having a ME background allows me to do that while working on cars. I enjoy taking cars apart and understanding how things work together. There is always something that can be taken apart and fixed or improved. I enjoy trying to solve those types of problems because there is usually never just one solution and there are many ways to go about solving them. It is easier to understand how each component works together and the reason behind why things are designed a certain way and how some things tend to need replacement more often than others. It also fascinates me to learn about different modifications that can be made to improve the performance/efficiency and safety of the vehicle.
