Critiquing your own design

This post is spot on, and in particular I think it is so important to avoid working on things just by yourself.

I’ve noticed that a lot of times, when I get stuck on a design, I’ll send it to a friend or show it to someone else, and before they even open their mouth I usually see clear changes that I need to make. When another person begins using your product, you begin to look at it a different way.

You don’t have to have a team of designers or a focus group for feedback, but the simple act of putting it in front of another users eyes works wonders.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
