Resharing on Facebook is fixed!

Well how’s that for service with a smile? Within 24 hours of reporting this problem, Facebook has told me that they’ve patched the problem. Now when you share a link that someone else has shared, you only see the link as the attachment, without the original sharer’s commentary:

This behavior is somewhat less desirable, as Scott Beale points out:

But perhaps from the perspective of the original sharer, this is a better way to preserve their intended audience.
