The McLaren Effect.

Amazed at how much energy is expended by humans in needing to feel relevant. Feature or bug? Probably both. Seeking status as an objective seems to fail for so many in the long run. The truth is almost certainly that you are already respected and admired. Helping others feel valued has a remarkable property of reciprocation. So substituting a need to impress with more compassion & kindness can actually deliver what many of us were seeking all along — love, respect and relevance. Not always easy but a worthwhile endeavor.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
