I want to come clean with a very simple projection… Suicide is on the rise and will soon be the leading cause of death in the United States.

Suicide is already the 2nd leading cause of death for individuals ages 10–24 in the United States, and within the next 2–3 years it will be #1.

Today another very inspiration musician took his own life, and that saddest part of his loss is that just a few weeks ago he was singing at the funeral of another musician who just recently took his own life as well.

I want to make it very clear that without a shadow of a doubt I know that our current “suicide prevention efforts” are 100% CRAP! For anyone who thinks my opinion is SHIT, I encourage you to look into all the “efforts” that are being rolled out, and backed by hundred of millions of dollars… yet the numbers continue to rise.

We, as a society, have allowed the simple aspects of human empathy and support to be clouded and manipulated by academically controlled studies that dictate BULLSHIT standards onto our mental health professionals, all the while fostering environments that discourage creativity and outside the box thinking because the “managers” in place couldn’t find their own ass with two hands and a map.

RIP Chester Bennington
RIP Chris Cornell
