This is a good point you bring up about frameworks that focus on the needs of developers. The manifesto was written by devs and incorporated XP practices into them. I don’t blame designers for disliking Big-A agile, and I frequently find myself feeling the same way. We can do better.
In many clients I work with, absolutely this is the truth. However, I would please ask caution against blanket statements like this because it’s not always the case. The nuance is hard to explore in a concise blog post but it’s there and it’s valid.
