One last time :(

What did you like the least about the class?

I felt like the lectures and the projects were completely unrelated, and that the lectures were not at all helpful to finishing the group projects. The lectures focused on the inner workings of python and SQL, and although those are useful things to know when working with the languages, they almost never became useful in our project. Most of the realistic software development we did involved using third-party libraries or APIs, and we almost never ended up writing plain python or SQL code by hand.

What did you like the most about the class?

I liked getting more familiar with React and web development. I had never created a website that was a data-heavy as this one, and it was cool to learn how to display/manage all the information in the front end.

What’s the most significant thing you learned?

I learned how to work with a team, both the good and bad parts. My team had some communication/procrastination issues, but we always managed to pull together and finish our assignments on time.

How many hours a week did you spend coding/debugging/testing for this class?
