Are We Close To Finding Planet 9
We have all crammed the names of the eight planets of our solar system i.e. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
What if I tell you that there is a “planet nine” in this solar system, yet unseen?
The search for this planet is not new. For more than a century astronomers have continued to look for the world that perturbs Neptune’s orbit in vain. However, Mike Brown and Konstantin Batygin have rekindled this hypothesis with their latest analysis.

The Search For Planet 9
In 2016, Brown and Batygin first announced their prediction of planet 9 hiding in the cosmic realm well beyond Neptune’s orbit. However, it was not the first time that someone suggested that an “undiscovered world” resides in our solar system.
The search for the “unseen planet” is based on its supposed gravitational pull on Neptune’s trajectory and other celestial bodies in its vicinity. For over a century, astronomers continued to search for this ghost planet that perturbed the orbit of Neptune.
