Ah, yes, that’s more or less what I had observed, Criss. Trump is discounted as a sort of a mad man whereas Clinton is, by contrast, considered to be worse…. of almost a criminal nature. That view of Clinton seems to be shared equally by Conservaatives and Progressives. This tells me that she is a one-term president.
Meanwhile, I believe that the Republicans will regroup after the election and I expect will gain the Presidency with a huge margin in the subsequent election in 4 years time, as an expression of relief after the Trump disaster. It’s how the pendulum swings.
I’m gathering that the Left despise Clinton much more than they despised George Bush, for example. I guess that’s because Bush was taken as being a Conservative, whereas Democrats expect more of their representative? That appears to be the politics going on. Better to have a Republican in the White House than a Democrat who doesn’t measure up.
