I’m not being patronising, Criss, I’m just emphasising my point that many piosuly express loud opinions as if by snapping their fingers they could easily fix things up. I o that cheekily too to emphasise the point, but I offer you no disrespect and won’t lump you in with the many disempowered who enjoy lopping the heads off tall poppies because it makes them feel better.

I totally agree with you that the days of great presidents are behind us. I wish that were not the case. Over here this presidential race makes for great entertainment, like a Hollywood blockbuster, but the entertainment value is tinged with the knowledge that it’s actually very serious.
