A conversation with Olivier Pomel CEO and co-founder of Datadog
Today I spoke with Olivier Pomel, the CEO and co-founder of Datadog. Olivier began his career as a software engineer who built data systems for K-12 teachers. Last year, Datadog had a successful IPO that gave them a $10.9 billion market cap on the first day of trading. I spoke with Olivier about how he prepared for that IPO, what life’s been life since, and how the whole idea for the company came from dysfunction between DevOps teams at one of his prior jobs.
I hope everyone is staying safe! Enjoy.
And don’t forget to tune in next Thursday at Noon PST for my conversation with Eva Kruse, CEO of Global Fashion Agenda.
