We are proud to announce the release of the next testnet version.

Under the codename “Cranz” — named after a cute district of Hamburg, close to Blankenese — we have released the next version of the Autobahn Network core as Testnet, which features a major facelift for the web wallet and several minor improvements at the core. This article focuses on the improvements to Testnet.

In just a few short days, we will present our 6th Major Status Update, which details progress leading up to our planned Mainnet launch in the coming months.

TL;DR How can I use it?

Crypto projects normally stay in the development phase for a long period and can only evidence adoption of their technology by announcing partnerships. Very seldom do crypto projects earn any revenue in their early stages.

We are very proud to announce that Tixl gGmbH, despite being such a young company, has started earning recurring real-dollar revenue. For us, and the Tixl project, this is fantastic news as the income means we can spend more on development and marketing, and there is less pressure to sell tokens to cover costs.

This will come as surprising news, as the release of the…

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome Max (Dr. Maximilian Muelke) to the team. Max has recently been helping us with various aspects of the project.

With a Master’s degree and PhD in banking and finance (Blockchain & DeFi did not exist at that time ;-)) from the Universities of Munich, St.Gallen, Saarbruecken and Dartmouth/Tuck, Max gained an enormous amount of experience working in the world of finance. In addition, Max has worked for consultancies (Booz & Co., McKinsey & Co.) and venture capital firms and is a serial entrepreneur. He has founded a number of technology start-ups…

A new star is born! We are proud to finally introduce TXL — which has been long-awaited.

We have decided to change to TXL earlier than planned, for several reasons:

  1. Our token price has developed well
  2. We are making great progress in the overall development
  3. Our Uniswap-Listing lies ahead of us

We had originally planned to make the change from MTXLT to TXL at the time of the Mainnet release (which is still some months away), but the combination of events listed above means that now is a good time. …

*** Update: In a token split done in 2020, MTXLT became TXL with a split ratio of 1:1,000. The MTXLT mentioned in this article migrated to TXL.***

We are constantly looking for ways to extend and improve the Tixl ecosystem and provide other platforms for people who share in the vision we have for Tixl. For this reason, we are pleased to announce that we are introducing a new $MTXLT ERC-20 token based on the Ethereum blockchain, and a bridge to swap the $MTXLT token back and forth.

We are proud to announce one of the most important milestones of 2020 for Tixl. Under the codename “Blankenese” — named after a beautiful district of Hamburg close to Altona— we have released the first version of the Autobahn Network core as Testnet. In Status Update #4 released in January, we outlined our idea for expanding the use of Tixl by using it to provide a second-layer solution for other digital assets. We have decided to call it the “Autobahn Network”. When making this call, we were careful to ensure that the Tixl Token (MTXLT) would not become obsolete, but rather this decision should support the increase in its long-term growth in value and sustainability.

We had a very successful year in 2019 and are proud of what we have achieved so far, starting from zero. We will be publishing a larger article - Tixl Status Update #4 - on January 8, 2020. In the meantime, we wanted to give a quick update on our financial and team situation.
