He was 11 years old. We do not know whether he was attending scholl or not. He worked with his father in the family fishmonger. He lived in the so-called City of God, a slum in Rio. He was working and died from a stray bullet. Witnesses say that in the evening two armed suspects entered the slum and started shooting. The boy tried to escape but was hit in the chest without knowing why. It was Christmas. It happens everyday. We are in Rio.
