Hm. Can’t completely agree. After 4 years of traveling, I find that the only way you really learn and grow is by going solo, and going on a budget — no villas. The best part about traveling for me is meeting people with different backgrounds and learning from them. Yes, dealing with no internet and AC can make you appreciate the small things, but that’s only the very first thing you learn before you REALLY learn. Traveling is not just about us. It’s seeing everything with different eyes, seeing the diversity of people and yet that we’re all one. It humbles you and shows you how little you know. Just my 2 cents. Enjoy your articles though, no offense! Think Bali just isn’t a great destination for this. Anymore. I had fantastic experiences there, but that was before the DN wave rolled in. Try the Middle East! Happy travels 😊
