Whenever we think gothic Halloween party, all we imagine are those orange, black pumpkins. However, it can be more than that when you want to set up a true Halloween party theme.

The reason can be any; maybe you want to invite your guests to a gothic dinner party, or it is going to be your gothic-themed wedding party. Whatever, the reason is, here we bring some help that you can use to set the goth environ.

Décor the Welcome Door

Let your guests have the gothic feel right before they enter your home. This can be achieved by decorating the entrance with some gothic details.

The first thing you can set is a wreath of black and red flowers with a fake skull hanging. Or you can put on a board saying “enter if you dare” or something similar that sounds creepy.

Additionally, adorn the gate with some cobwebs, and it would blend well with the theme. You can also light up the skull attached in the wreath and make it creepier.

Arrange the Inside

The next thing you need to décor is the interior or a particular room for the gothic taste.

The ghostly Victorian photos and cobweb would help you very much. Additionally, you need to add up some fake skulls here and there, some spooky silhouettes, old vases, and anything vintage that creates a creepy feel.

You can also go creative with lamps and adorn them with the cobwebs, too, while placing candles inside.

Decor the room with candles with the holders and sprinkle the cobwebs. Old looking books also help to create the illusion and use cobwebs almost everywhere.

Setting Up the Dinner Table

This holds the utmost importance as your guests are eventually going to sit on the table to have some food. Decorating the table sitting is the most important part.

  • Start with placing the fabric on the surface or proceed without any table cover. Generally, spider-themed cloth works well!
  • You may need to buy a few utensils like pewter goblets, silver spoons, and knives, other than the add-ons required to set the horror on the table.
  • Add the depth by bringing things like a faux crow, vintage candle set, fake spiders, skulls, webs, red or black roses, red wine, black flowers, and more such things.

Use all the items in such a way that it sets a gothic view on the table without making it too messy.

Preparing the Food and Drinks

The next task is to prepare Halloween serving ideas or food and drinks for your guests that speak the gothic theme. You can go creative with drinks by keeping them blood red and pour a chained spider to create the vibe.

Black-colored vodka can be another idea for drinks! Google some Halloween drink recipes and have your choices.

For food, here are some items that go well with any gothic party:

  • Maraschino cherries
  • Grilled mushrooms
  • Barbequed steak
  • Black beans
  • Black olives
  • Jellied Fruits
  • Chocolates
  • Roast beef
  • Lobster tails

Foods you should not serve in a gothic party:

  • Green salads
  • lettuce leafs
  • roast potatoes
  • boiled vegetables
  • pies
  • spaghetti
  • Mexican foods
  • Grilled fish

Adorn each of the food plates with some creepy creatures with the black or red blood drinks, and there you have it a well set gothic Halloween party.
