Every politician has taken advantage of their position to “enrich” themselves. Even Bernard — although legally he cannot do these kinds of speaking engagements while he’s in Congress (which is why he has not speeches to show!). The Clintons are the Rock Stars of the political speaking world. They could probably command even bigger fees and I think it’s admirable that they go to these speaking engagements knowing much of this money goes to the Clinton Foundation which in turn uses the money for charities — like fighting AIDS and helping to rebuild 3rd world areas in need. And you better believe that this Foundation has been scrutinized and investigated. Charity Navigator has taken it off their “Watch List.” There was even a slander book called “Clinton Cash” written by a Koch-sucker operative — which has been debunked because it’s full of lies. And the point is — she is rightfully entitled to do keep any fees she wishes. So please tell me again getting big speaking fees equates with evil?
