AESTHET INDIVIDUAL ACTIVITY #4

NATIONAL MUSEUM

The national museum was the home of every arts that represents the Filipino culture and norms. It was a place where we, Filipinos, can relate. I already visited the national museum when i was still a kid. I don’t really remember much of my experience there because of my innocence. And today, it was my pleasure to visit it again. The feeling was spectacular because I was able to see the arts, paintings and sculptures of different artists. And there, I felt proud because it takes courage and great imagination to paint something. And the paintings there are not just “paintings”, it is us, it is our history. We can tell the life and everyday activity of Filipinos way back then by seeing the paintings. The museum also portraits how artistic we Filipinos are.

Being able to visit the museum was an honor, and to visit it with my friends was another story. They made my tour there unforgettable. Knowing our history at school was nice, but to witness the arts and paintings made by prominent people of the past is an amazing feeling.
