I’d love someone to define ‘mediocre’. It feels like defining people as mediocre gives the labeller i.e. you a sense of superiority, it’s an ego thing in the same way that Instagram and image projection is a projection of the ego wanting validation for it’s conscious being. You see, much of our image is external, in fact most of it is external imagery such as job titles, salary, following a sports team, purchases etc have been collected and acquired as a set of interests. Is going to the gym to gain a body image and working 100 hours a week to gain external validation and getting promotions whilst dating hot people and sipping wine til the early hours of the morning in cocktail bars more or less valid than other ‘mediocre’ life choice? stop judging, stop expecting
