I lean towards spiritual rather than religious, but since the disillution of my local Unity Church I’ve missed the weekly discipline of a Sunday church service. There’s something about having regular checking in socially with people of like mind, I’ve tried the Unitarians, they’re great people but there’s no moral center or creed there. They’d be the first to admit that, Unitarian doctrine is covenental rather than creedal. I need a loose and liberal and free-thinking creed, but a creed nonetheless. Staying home with A Course In Miracles is rather isolating. I’m sort of a born again agnostic, I embrace the “I don’t know” in an effort to be open to new information. I have no idea who or what God is, but I know I ain’t him.
