This is a solution that the medical industry and privacy concerned individuals have been looking for, for decades, and until now no comprable system has been created to accomplish this level of data access and privacy.
Think about it for a minute if you were traveling and in a car accident and were unable to speak or communicate and there was no one available to ask what your blood type, allergies are, procedures were, and other pertinent medical information how would emergency staff access that information. With blockchain you could keep and ICE card (in case of emergency card) in your wallet and the medical professionals would have all the information through platform access that you have provided for such circumstances. Quick access to such information is invaluable in an emergency and help avoid turning an emergency into a potential tragety due to having an unknown medical history.
