Xoogler.co hosted its 101st event for the year in Sydney last Friday. We also held events in Silicon Valley, New York, London, Amsterdam and Singapore the same week!

Thank you to Stephen Tse, Ben Colman, Becky Stephens, Rune Bentien, Michiel Vanthoor and Anne Caron who volunteered to host these programs across the world to help ex-colleagues progress as entrepreneurs and in their professional development.

  • Seattle: Pablo Brown-Rodriguez is hosting our first meetup in Seattle on Thursday July 14.
  • Silicon Valley: Stephen Tse is hosting our weekly Machine Learning meetup in Sunnyvale this and next Thursday and Max Grigorev is hosting our first Machine Learning meetup in San Francisco on Tuesday July 18.
  • NEW! Beijing: Next week, Lei Xu is hosting our first meetup in Beijing.

Announcing…XOMA

Unveiled by Zi Wang at the Xoogler Pitch Day at Google’s London office and covered by Business Insider, Xoogler.co will continue helping local communities flourish by launching XOMA.

The goal of XOMA is to help ex-colleagues connect more easily and quickly by creating an internal directory for Xooglers, based on Google MOMA. Reach out to be a beta tester!

Congratulations again to the 13 Xoogler startups who pitched to 80+ investors in London! We look forward to seeing you on XOMA. ;)

Xooglers & Googlers being hosted by Carthona Capital and Moelis & Company in Sydney

Back to the Future in Australia

Our first official Sydney meetup last Friday attracted 50 attendees thanks to James Synge from Carthona Capital. He gave an insightful presentation on startup trends in Australia at our meetup held at Moelis & Company.

Thank you Stanley Hsieh for being our gracious and generous host! We appreciate your help bringing the Xooglers, Googlers & guests together to learn more about the opportunities in Autonomous Vehicles, Cybersecurity, Big Data and Cryptocurrencies.

We’ll be organizing future Sydney meetups thanks to Chris Bayley, Shane Nantais, Lucy Wei and Hourann Bosci! Seeing the community flourish in the city where I grew up is especially gratifying. Looking forward to helping Aussie startups break into Silicon Valley!

Jump Start your Next Venture with Startup Studio and Xoogler Syndicate

Kushagra Shrivastava’s Startup Studio aims to provide extra support to Xoogler startups. Alongside the Studio the growth of the Xoogler AngelList Syndicate, now boasting US$886K in backing from over 200 backers for each startup, is designed to help more Xoogler startups receive venture funding.

So far this year we’ve successfully backed 4 Xoogler-led startups alongside the best venture capital firms. Xoogler startups can continue to reach out to my fellow syndicate leads, Ethan Beard and Kushagra Shrivastava or via this form to raise capital from Xooglers & Googlers.

Hone your Startup Skills

Join us at Xoogler.co as we continue to run programs to help Xooglers with their startups, including how to apply to Y Combinator with Y Combinator’s former COO & Partner (and Xoogler) Qasar Younis.

Upcoming programs also include helpful workshops with Lightspeed Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Accel Partners, Andreessen Horowitz and Google’s newly launched Gradient Ventures in the next couple of months.

You can reach out to Xoogler.co organizers via partner@xoogler.co.

Thank you to all the wonderful Xooglers and Googlers that have organized Xoogler.co programs in Amsterdam, Austin, Bangalore, Beijing, Berlin, Boston, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Chicago, Denver, Dublin, Ho Chi Minh City, Istanbul, Kuala Lumpur, Los Angeles, Madrid, Mexico City, New Delhi, New York, Oslo, Sao Paulo, Seattle, Silicon Valley, Singapore, Sydney, Taipei and Zurich!
