Your inclusion of the McCain tweet in which he’s cheering Qaddafi’s eventual murder and our half-a-decade campaign to do the same to Assad pretty much sums up McCain and why I have no sympathy for him.
After Qaddafi was brutally murdered, McCain’s fellow neocon warmonger Hillary Clinton actually sat in front of a television camera and laughed about it in a fashion that would please the most thuggish of Mafia dons. People like McCain and Hillary openly express their desire for the death of others, yet the rest of us are supposed to feel some sympathy for them when they are faced with their own mortality?
I think the world became a lot better place after Senators Jesse Helms and Strom Thurmond gave up the ghost, and I’ll feel the same after McCain does. I actually hope he suffers considerably before he does though, and I have no problem saying that. After a lifetime of callousness and casually supporting the suffering of so many of his fellow human beings, he deserves nothing less.
