I understand your viewpoint. I believe that women don’t tell primarily because they don’t wish to upset anyone, (including the assailant) or the setting. Men don’t tell because victimization is looked upon as a weakness. We look forward to the day when gender is not so black and white. Such designation is destructive. It is absolutely true that all children, regardless of their sex, must be taught simple decency.
