About The Newspeller

Hey Friends,

So excited to share my recent project called The Newspeller. It’s for people who always looking for interesting stories without spending too much time on browsing sites, social networks or RSS aggregators.

The Newspeller is an email that delivers timely headlines about the things that matter to you, from the sources you love, all in one place.

Once subscribed, you’ll be able to:

- Read and browse your favourite magazines and newspapers
- See what’s happening in the world
- Stay up-to-date on breaking news
- Adjust time of delivery to your needs

A few magazines & topics available on The Newspeller

The Newspeller is split into two sections. In the first section, you can choose from variety news organisations, magazines or topics you are read, and in the Settings, you can decide when you wish to receive emails. Yes, you can choose days and hours and adjust to your needs.

Everyone has different interests, so whether you’re into sports, celebrities, news, movies, music or shopping, The Newspeller makes it easy to get headlines you’re into with a broad selection of great channels across a variety of categories.

You’ll receive headlines, delivered right to your inbox, and a quick glance will keep you connected to the things that you care about throughout the day. If you want to see more, just click the headline title to open the link in the browser where you can read the full article, watch the video, or view the site.

The Newspeller launches with a great list of sources powering multiple channels to meet a wide variety of interests, and we plan to add more sources in the near future.

Why Email? No mobile app?

I wanted to make this project very simple. Email is the best tool to communicate and hold your attention in a distraction-free environment. That’s why I decided to use an email as the simplest and most accessible tool for all people. Every other environment is full of distraction, but email is a close and personal environment. You don’t need to install any additional app from App Store or Google Play, you just need your email address.

Questions? Let me know! There is also a little FAQ section on the website which may or may not answer a few of those already. Thank you for sharing and spreading the word.

PS. My personal motivation for this project was to build up my skills about ReactJS, Redux, Sagas and Styled-Components. I’ll also put up a blog post with some more tech information on the project very soon.
