American country musician, Tim McGraw has announced a divorce from his wife Faith Hill after 25 years of marriage and having three children together.

Tim, according to reports, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind their split when filing to end their marriage in Nashville TN.

Tim, who announced the divorce on media on Monday 3rd January, said she would continue maintaining a friendship with her ex-wife.

The country musician wrote, “I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Faith and I have decided to go our separate ways. These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness. We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children.

“I am grateful for all the happy times we had together and want to thank my friends, family and fans for your love and support as we start this new chapter moving forward in our lives,” he stated.

"Every couple of years they have a big fight and he has left Faith before, but he always came back because of his three Golden daughters as said by the popular country artist.

"They always worked through things, and Tim was hopeful they would do it again this time."

DIVORCE THREATS IN THE PAST

Despite Tim's efforts to save the marriage, Faith seems to be determined to end the relationship.

Although neither Tim nor Faith have made their break-up official, it has been reported that the two parties would not be against maintaining joint custody of their three children Gracie McGraw aged 25, Maggie Elizabeth McGraw aged 24 and Audrey Caroline McGraw aged 20.
